Affordable Housing for Families

The Grand Rapids Housing Commission (GRHC) offers income-eligible households affordable, family friendly apartment living at two centrally located housing developments.

Creston Plaza and Campau Commons Apartments are in well-established Grand Rapids neighborhoods, with easy access to public transportation, shopping, schools and other facilities and services. Rents at these developments are not more than 30% of a family’s adjusted monthly income; a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development makes it possible for the GRHC to offer rents well below the average rental rates for comparable apartments in our area.

All GRHC apartments are smoke free! Click the Fact Sheet link next to each development to view information about features and amenities as well as federally required maximum annual household income limits.

Click on Application (Aplicación) to complete the online form that's the first step toward renting family housing. Please be aware that there is currently a significant wait to rent at our family developments.
